Following a ground-breaking deal to acquire the 25,000-seater Northern Echo Arena, ambitious rugby club Darlington Mowden Park RFC have an opening for an Assistant Manager. This exciting post will form a key part of the Club’s growing off field team, based at England’s largest rugby specific arena aside from Twickenham. The Arena offers a great range of event spaces for Match and non-match day events and therefore this role offers a great platform for an experienced Assistant Manager to really make an impact.
Flexibility is key in this role as you will work across all areas of the business ranging from HR and marketing to cleaning and maintenance. As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the Arena. Your role will be to coach all team members including supervisors, and the hospitality & cleaning teams. You need to be able to adapt quickly and rise to every challenge. Great interpersonal skills are needed to support the General Manager to inspire a team that performs 7 days a week.
