Overview

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) programme is a part of the England Rugby Performance Pathway for female rugby players aged 15-18 years. DMP Sharks deliver the Centre of Excellence programme on behalf of England Rugby by selecting players from local county programmes via a formal trial process followed by attendance at monthly sessions. Sessions include the delivery of the England Rugby technical and tactical framework with education provided on S&C, concussion awareness and anti-doping. After two years of running the Centre of Excellence programme there are already a number of players who have progressed on to represent DMP Sharks and other Tyrrells Premier 15s teams at development and 1st XV level.

DMP Sharks are looking for two ambitious, passionate, committed coaches to lead the Centre of Excellence programmes in Darlington and Yorkshire. The programme focuses on development of selected players in the under 18 age bracket and is delivered on an 8 to 10 hours a month basis in each centre, running from the July 2019 to April 2020.
