Scotland born centre Auld, who will combine playing whilst studying at Northumbria University, joins the club from Edinburgh having been on a dual registration contract with London Scottish.

Portuguese centre Appleton arrives at the club with a wealth of experience having played international Rugby for both the Portuguese 15 and 7’s sides.

Head Coach John Newton said of the pairs arrival “We are very happy to welcome both Chris and Tomas to the club.

“Chris will be a good option at 13 who is a very good ball player who reads the game well and we are looking forward to seeing how he pans out over the National League 1 season.”

“Tomas has only just recently arrived at the club but we are very excited by what we have seen he is very very quick with a great set of hands who is willing to learn.”
