Park Players one step closer to international honours as they represent North of England 20s

We are pleased to announce that five Mowden Park players have been included in the U20s North of England Squad. Tom Larder, Ben Simpson (Durham), Jack Allcock, Guy van den Dries (Yorkshire) and Antony Harrison (Northumberland) have all been selected on the back of their recent club and County Performances.

All the players will travel to Wellbeck Collage and play in the England U20s divisional tournament competing against the other divisional sides including South, South West and Midlands. As well as being a competitive weekend of games between the teams it is also a process for the England U20s Squad selection.

The weekend consists of a 10s tournament on the Friday, skills and positional work throughout Saturday, concluding with a 15s Tournament on Sunday. The aim of the weekend is to provide the players with the best opportunity to show case their skills and abilities in what will be a very competitive environment.

All players have been outstanding for DMP throughout the season and we wish them the best of luck, hopefully seeing the boys bring back an England shirt
